Leadership Updates – 30 April

We are pleased to announce new key appointments to our Board and Executive team, enhancing the organization’s capacity to drive sustainable growth and accelerate technological innovation.

Sergio Ezama joins as a Member of the Board and Chair of the Remco Committee. He will support the Board and Executive team leveraging his expertise across Remuneration Strategy, Culture and Leadership. Sergio currently serves as Chief Talent Officer at Netflix, a role he has held since September 2021. Prior to joining Netflix, he was Global Chief Talent Officer at PepsiCo, where he also served as CHRO for the company’s global functions and groups, leading talent initiatives across more than 200 countries. During his time at PepsiCo, he played a key role in major people and culture transformations, including initiatives such as “The PepsiCo Way” and “Work that Works.” Sergio joined PepsiCo in 2001 and held a variety of senior HR leadership roles across the U.S., Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. 

Mina Dimitrova joins the executive team as Chief Strategy Officer. Mina will lead organic expansion and growth initiatives, new venture incubation, business & AI transformation and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in partnership with the Finance function. Mina brings extensive experience across strategy, transformation, and driving sustainable growth in complex, high-growth environments. She has worked closely with leadership teams to shape strategy, support execution at scale, and navigate periods of change. During her time at Google, Mina built and led EMEA Strategy & Operations and Go-To-Market teams for the advertising business, supporting the organization through rapid scaling. Her experience also includes roles at YouTube, McKinsey & Company, and advisory roles for startups and scaleups.

Andrew Watts has been appointed Chief Product Officer, leading product strategy and execution as the company scales its next phase of platform and customer experience innovation. Andrew is a highly accomplished global product executive operating at the intersection of commerce, platforms, and AI, with over 20 years of experience building and scaling products used by hundreds of millions of customers across Europe, the US, and Asia. He was part of the early Amazon team that launched streaming video in 2008 and helped grow Prime Video to over 150 million users, helping introduce new digital commerce models and launch its first live sports offerings, while earning 12 U.S. patents. Later on, Andrew joined Zalando, Europe’s leading fashion platform, where he led product strategy and the end-to-end experience for 62 million customers across 29 markets, leading the shift toward AI-powered, personalized, and content-led discovery experiences.

Olatz Urroz is taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer. Olatz is a senior finance executive with over two decades of international experience across technology, banking and industrial sectors. She previously served as Chief of Staff and Group Strategy at Bank Santander, while also acting as a Non-Executive Board Member and Head of the Audit Committee at Fluidra. Prior to this, Olatz was the CFO and SVP of PagoNxt, Santander’s global payments business, and held multiple leadership roles at Amazon, including VP and CFO of Global Customer Fulfillment and Seller Partner Services, overseeing large-scale operations and driving financial performance across complex global systems. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions at Vodafone, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, and General Electric.

Alongside these appointments, Glyn Hughes, after three years as CFO of the company, will transition back to Hellen’s Rock Capital, a strategic shareholder of Super Technologies, where he will focus on and oversee portfolio-wide initiatives. He leaves behind strong foundations and a clear legacy, having consistently delivered on financial commitments, led key refinancing and expansion initiatives, and ensured a more disciplined and robust operating model.
